WWE SmackDown Viewership for 2/28 – The February 28 episode of WWE SmackDown saw a minor dip in overall viewership heading into Elimination Chamber, but the key demographic rating saw an increase.
Friday’s broadcast averaged 1.731 million viewers, a slight decrease from the 1.736 million recorded the previous week. However, the 18-49 demographic rating rose to 0.52, up from last week’s 0.51, marking the show’s highest demo rating since its return to the USA Network in September.
Despite the viewership decline, SmackDown remained the No. 1 program on both cable and broadcast television in the key demographic. The only close competition came from ESPN’s NBA matchup between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, which posted a 0.51 rating to take the second spot.

The show opened with Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton cutting a promo before being interrupted by Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. This led to a match between Stratton and Green, which ended in a disqualification when Nia Jax interfered.
