Toni Storm Vs Megan Bayne Set for AEW Dynasty – AEW has officially announced that Toni Storm will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Megan Bayne at AEW Dynasty on April 6 in Philadelphia.
The match was confirmed during Collision: Slam Dunk Sunday when both Storm and Bayne delivered heated promos. Bayne, referring to herself as the “All Elite Goddess,” proclaimed that she was chosen by the heavens and declared AEW her kingdom. In response, Storm fired back with a sharp retort, questioning Bayne’s authority by asking, “Who died and made you God?” She then vowed to “cut the head of the Megasus” at Dynasty.
Bayne has been targeting Storm since Revolution, where Storm successfully defended her title against Mariah May. Immediately after the match, Bayne attacked the champion, making her intentions clear. She further cemented her status as the top contender by defeating Kris Statlander on Dynamite last week. Following the win, Storm confronted Bayne and officially issued the challenge.
This will be Storm’s latest title defense in her dominant reign, but Bayne’s undefeated streak in AEW makes her a formidable challenger.
The updated AEW Dynasty card for April 6 includes:
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Megan Bayne
- AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Swerve Strickland
- AEW International Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Ricochet vs. Mike Bailey
With championship implications on the line, AEW Dynasty is shaping up to be a must-see event.
