The match began with both women exchanging strikes and counters, with Giulia backing Vaquer into the ropes for a clean break early on. Giulia attempted to gain control, but Vaquer escaped several of her moves and delivered a knee bar that forced Giulia to roll to the outside. The two continued their brawl outside the ring, exchanging forearms, before they returned to the ring to break the count.
As the match continued, both women exchanged a series of impactful moves. Giulia hit a missile dropkick from the top rope and later pulled Vaquer off the apron with a neck breaker to the floor. Vaquer responded with a springboard crossbody onto Giulia and a boot to the head, but Giulia quickly regained control with a running boot and neck breaker for a near fall.
Vaquer continued to fight back, landing her signature Eat Defeat and a double knee strike in the corner. She executed a head scissors and drove Giulia’s head into the mat, but Giulia wasn’t finished yet, countering with a butterfly superplex and a spinning pump handle driver. Vaquer escaped a suplex and delivered a dragon screw in the corner. The two continued to battle, with both women trying for high-impact moves to secure the win.
In the end, Vaquer hit her signature SVB twice, securing the three-count and clinching the NXT Women’s Championship, marking her first reign with the title.
Giulia, who had held the title for 64 days with one successful defense, is dealing with a hand injury and will be taking time off. The severity of her injury is currently unknown.
