Speculation Grows Over Potential Brian Cage Knee Injury – AEW star Brian Cage may be dealing with a knee injury, as he has not competed in a match for several days.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that he received a photo of Cage holding his knee during a match against Chris Masters. While details remain unconfirmed, Cage was originally scheduled to work the Chris Bey tribute show last weekend but missed the event. Additionally, he was reportedly slated for a match at AEW Dynasty on April 6 but has now been removed from those plans.
Meltzer speculated on the situation, saying:
“I don’t know this for certain, but all signs lead me to believe that Brian Cage has an injury. I got an email from someone I don’t know, just with a photo of Cage holding his knee during a match against Chris Masters. I don’t even know the city. But he did miss the Chris Bey show, where he was supposed to wrestle Rich Swann. Also, I believe Archer and Cage were originally scheduled to face the Hurt Syndicate at AEW Dynasty, and now, suddenly, it’s Big Bill and Bryan Keith in that spot. So, you have to wonder if this was a last-minute change.”
Cage last wrestled on March 20 at an independent event, and AEW has yet to comment on his status. Until further confirmation, his condition remains speculative.
