Kid Kash Announces Return to the Ring – After several years away from the ring, Kid Kash is making a comeback to professional wrestling.
Kash, whose real name is David Tyler Cash, began his career in 1989 and built a reputation as one of wrestling’s most dynamic junior heavyweights. He gained prominence in ECW before moving on to WWE and TNA, where he captured multiple championships, including the ECW World Television Championship, WWE Cruiserweight Championship, TNA X Division Championship, and NWA World Tag Team Championships.
The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion originally retired in 2016 due to mounting injuries and health concerns, which led to several replacement surgeries. Although he briefly returned to action, he retired once again in 2020.
Now, after years of recovery, Kash has officially announced his return via Twitter/X. In his statement, he explained that his previous injuries required treatment and rehabilitation, which he has now completed.
“I retired in 2017 due to mounting injuries and recurring fast injuries that at that point just needed to be treated, healed, and rehabbed. Over the years, I’ve had the replacement surgeries and rehab that my body desperately needed. I’m announcing that I am now accepting bookings,” Kash wrote.
With his return to in-ring competition, it remains to be seen where the veteran high-flyer will make his next appearance.
