Former WWE Star Makes AEW Appearance as Security Guard

Former WWE Star Makes AEW Appearance as Security Guard – Less than a year after his WWE release, the former Von Wagner made his first appearance on AEW Dynamite during the March 27 episode. Now competing under the name Cal Bloom, he was spotted working as a security guard during a chaotic brawl between Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs.

His presence didn’t go unnoticed, as fans quickly recognized him, leading to buzz on social media. While this appearance was not an official AEW debut, it marked his first time being seen on the company’s programming.

Since departing WWE, Bloom has remained active in the wrestling scene. On March 15, he made his in-ring return at a Midwest All-Star Wrestling event, wrestling under his new name for the first time.

It remains to be seen whether his AEW appearance signals a long-term role with the company or if it was simply a one-time cameo. However, given his background and size, he could be an intriguing addition to AEW’s roster should the company choose to utilize him further.
