Concerns Surround Lance Anoa’i’s WWE Future Amid Criticism – While WWE has successfully integrated multiple Bloodline members in recent years—including Jacob Fatu, The Tongas, and Solo Sikoa—one recent signee has reportedly raised concerns within the company.
Lance Anoa’i, who signed with WWE in 2024 after stints in Pro Wrestling NOAH and MLW, has yet to make his in-ring debut due to an injury. He is currently assigned to WWE Evolve, WWE’s developmental brand.
However, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there is skepticism about Anoa’i’s potential.
“Lance Anoa’i is there. There has been criticism of Lance Anoa’i that he may not make it. I have heard nothing negative about Hikuleo. You would think that him being there for all this time and not being used is like they must be disappointed, but I have not heard that at all.”
Despite his Bloodline ties and experience in major promotions, some within WWE reportedly question whether Anoa’i will succeed. Unlike Hikuleo, who also signed with WWE and has yet to debut, Anoa’i appears to be facing internal doubts about his long-term prospects.
For now, he remains on the Evolve roster as he recovers from injury, but it remains to be seen if he will overcome these concerns and establish himself in WWE’s system.
