Chris Jericho Challenges Bandido to Title vs Mask Match at AEW Dynasty 2025 – During the March 26 episode of AEW Dynamite from St. Paul, Minnesota, Chris Jericho made a major announcement, issuing a challenge for the upcoming AEW Dynasty 2025 pay-per-view.
In a backstage segment, Jericho addressed Big Bill and Bryan Keith, demanding they prove their commitment to The Learning Tree, or else their involvement would come to an end. The focus soon shifted to Bandido, with Jericho referencing Bandido’s recent efforts to recover Gravity’s mask. However, Jericho made it clear that the mask he really wanted was Bandido’s own. He promised to humiliate Bandido in front of his family, as he had done before, and formally issued a challenge for a title versus mask match at AEW Dynasty 2025. Jericho would put his ROH World Championship on the line, while Bandido would risk his mask.
“Bandido, is it worth risking the humiliation? Is it worth risking the disgrace? Is it worth making your mother cry again when I take your mask? I think it is. See you at AEW Dynasty,” Jericho taunted.
AEW Dynasty 2025, scheduled for April 6, 2025, at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, will feature several high-profile matchups. Alongside the Jericho vs. Bandido contest, Jon Moxley will defend his AEW World Championship against Cope, “Timeless” Toni Storm will face Megan Bayne for the AEW Women’s World Championship, and Kenny Omega will defend his AEW International Championship in a triple-threat match against “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Ricochet.
