AEW Dynamite Undergoes Changes Due to Talent Recovering from Revolution – Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite focused more on promos than in-ring action, as several top stars are still recovering from the physically demanding Revolution pay-per-view.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, adjustments were made to the show, with some segments altered late in the process. Sapp noted on the post-Dynamite show that AEW had to modify its plans due to wrestlers not being physically ready to compete as originally anticipated.
“This AEW Dynamite was a promo-heavy show for a lot of the top talent because, quite frankly, a lot of them were beat to dog s** this week. I do know that some of this show changed kind of late because there were people who couldn’t quite do what AEW had originally anticipated. This happens here and there with AEW,”* Sapp explained.
Despite the changes, Dynamite still delivered key storyline developments, including a promo from Kenny Omega, who recently won the AEW International Championship at Revolution. AEW has not confirmed which talents were affected by the adjustments, but the fallout from the pay-per-view continues to shape upcoming programming.
