AEW Dynamite Sees Viewership Increase for March 12 Episode

AEW Dynamite Sees Viewership Increase for March 12 Episode – The March 12 episode of AEW Dynamite saw an uptick in viewership, drawing 628,000 viewers on TBS, according to Programming Insider. This was an increase from the 600,000 viewers recorded on March 5. The show also improved in the key 18-49 demographic, scoring a 0.16 rating compared to the previous week’s 0.13.

This week’s Dynamite placed a heavier emphasis on promos rather than in-ring action, a decision influenced by the aftermath of Revolution. Many top AEW stars are still recovering from the physically intense pay-per-view, leading to some adjustments in the show’s structure. Sean Ross Sapp reported that AEW had to make late changes to the show as some talents were not cleared for the level of physicality initially planned.

The night kicked off with a promo from AEW International Champion Kenny Omega, addressing his title win and what lies ahead. The in-ring action included “Speedball” Mike Bailey making his AEW debut, defeating The Beast Mortos in an International Championship Eliminator Tournament match. In the women’s division, Willow Nightingale picked up a win over Penelope Ford, with post-match chaos involving Kris Statlander and Megan Bayne, who had attacked AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm earlier in the night.

The main event featured Orange Cassidy securing a victory over Hechicero in another International Championship Eliminator Tournament matchup.
