WWE Reportedly Set to Bring WrestleMania 42 to New Orleans – WWE is expected to return to New Orleans for WrestleMania 42 in 2026, marking the third time the city has hosted WrestleMania.
According to WrestleVotes, WWE plans to officially announce WrestleMania 42’s location before WrestleMania 41 takes place this April. While no specific date has been confirmed, the event is reportedly set for the Superdome, which previously hosted WrestleMania XXX (2014) and WrestleMania 34 (2018).
The report stated:
“Sources indicate WWE is planning on announcing WrestleMania 42’s location prior to this year’s event, with the highly speculated New Orleans, LA, as the host city. The Superdome (Silverdome, brother)—home of WM 30 & 34—is set to host its third Mania in 2026.”
WrestleMania XXX in 2014 remains one of the most historic events in WWE history, featuring The Undertaker’s streak-breaking loss to Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan’s memorable WWE World Heavyweight Championship win.
Four years later, WrestleMania 34 brought the spectacle back to New Orleans, with highlights including Ronda Rousey’s WWE in-ring debut, Daniel Bryan’s return to competition, and a controversial Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns main event.
If the report is accurate, New Orleans will become one of the select cities to host WrestleMania three times, joining locations like New York, Los Angeles, and Orlando. WWE has yet to confirm the news, but an official announcement could come within weeks.
