WWE Planning Major Push for Ava – WWE appears to have big plans for Ava, the current NXT General Manager and daughter of The Rock. Signed in 2020, Ava, real name Simone Johnson, made her in-ring debut at Stand & Deliver in 2023 as part of Schism before transitioning into her current authority role. Now, it seems WWE is preparing to elevate her presence on television.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass, WWE’s creative team is working on plans to feature Ava more prominently. The report also suggests that WWE is considering merchandise and character elements that tie her to her father, particularly referencing The Rock’s “Final Boss” persona.
“Creative has begun putting plans in motion for NXT General Manager and, of course, real-life daughter of The Rock, Ava, to be featured more prominently on TV, as well as have merchandise and character ties to her father, alluding to his Final Boss persona. We are told plans could include her playing off the Final Boss character on TV as a way to raise her importance. Ava, from all accounts, is well-liked and could have a big future with the company.”
While Ava has yet to have a major run as an in-ring competitor, WWE’s investment in her character suggests they see significant potential in her role. Whether this leads to a return to the ring or a major storyline remains to be seen, but WWE fans can expect to see much more of Ava in the near future.
