
TNA Names New President, More Leadership Changes – TNA Wrestling has announced a series of behind-the-scenes changes, naming Carlos Silva as the new TNA President following the departure of Anthony Cicione.
Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme have also exited the company, with TNA issuing the following statement:
- “The new TNA Wrestling President is Carlos Silva.
- George Veras is the new Executive Producer of the Anthem Sports Group. George is the 10-time Emmy Award-winning president and Chief Executive Officer of Pro Football Hall of Fame Enterprises, as well as president of Veras Communications, Incorporated.
- Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme are no longer with the Company. We appreciate their commitment to TNA throughout the years, and wish them well in their future endeavors.”
Leadership Changes
Carlos Silva has officially taken over as TNA President. Anthony Cicione, who previously held the role, will remain with Anthem Sports & Entertainment in a different capacity.
George Veras has been appointed as the new Executive Producer of the Anthem Sports Group. Veras has an extensive background in broadcasting, having worked with ABC Sports, NBC, CBS’ NFL Today, the Cleveland Browns, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He will now oversee TNA’s production efforts and is expected to assemble his own team.
Additionally, Mark Brown, a former director with Ring of Honor during its Sinclair Broadcast Group era, has joined TNA as a Director. Brown also has experience with New Japan Pro Wrestling’s U.S. events and has reportedly already been involved in recent TNA productions.
Talent Relations Adjustments
John E. Bravo and Ingrid Isely have been promoted to new roles within TNA’s Talent Relations department.
- John E. Bravo, known for his various on-screen roles, has been a longtime backstage presence and will now take on a greater responsibility in Talent Relations.
- Ingrid Isely, currently serving as the floor manager for TNA events, is expanding her role in the department.
Both are well-regarded within the company, and their promotions were met with support from colleagues.
The Talent Relations department will continue to be led by Gail Kim, who oversees all talent-related operations.
Creative Team Remains Unchanged
Despite these structural changes, there are no reported adjustments to TNA’s creative team.
