The Rock Gifts Cody Rhodes a Custom Truck – On the February 28th episode of WWE SmackDown, The Rock made another attempt to persuade Cody Rhodes, delivering his message via satellite while also showering him with gifts.
During a segment with Michael Cole, Cody was surprised with a custom truck courtesy of The Rock. Appearing on the big screen, The Rock told Rhodes he wanted to fulfill all his dreams and presented him with a custom weight belt engraved with “CODY’S SOUL” and the date June 11, 2015—the day Dusty Rhodes passed away. The Rock expressed that Dusty’s passing broke his heart and urged Cody not to break it again. He closed by reiterating that he wanted Cody to be his champion and his soul, ending with, “I love you, brother.”
The Rock’s generosity didn’t stop there. When Cody arrived at the arena, he was informed that he had a new locker room courtesy of The Rock, filled with wine, seafood, and an unexpected guest—R-Truth.
Throughout the night, Cody encountered several WWE stars who had their own thoughts on the situation. Drew McIntyre confronted him, claiming that Cody had already sold his soul long ago. The Miz advised him that if he wanted more, the only way to get it was by accepting The Rock’s offer.
Before heading to the ring, Cody had a brief interaction with CM Punk, who bluntly told him to take The Rock’s offer, “shine it up real nice, turn it sideways, and stick it straight up Rock’s ass.”
With WrestleMania 41 approaching, the tension continues to build as Cody Rhodes weighs his decision.
