The IIconics Set for Tag Team Reunion – Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, formerly known as The IIconics in WWE, are set to reunite for an upcoming tag team match. The duo gained popularity in WWE with their comedic timing and strong chemistry, highlighted by their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship victory at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Following their WWE release in 2021, Lee and McKay transitioned to IMPACT Wrestling, where they rebranded as The IInspiration. Their time in IMPACT was short but successful, as they captured the Knockouts Tag Team Championship. However, after less than a year, they announced their departure from the promotion in 2022. Since then, McKay has remained inactive in the ring, while Lee has sporadically competed, with her last match taking place in 2023.
Now, after nearly two years apart, The IIconics will officially reunite at Nothing to Lose, a Prestige Wrestling event in Las Vegas on April 17. They will face indie veterans Nicole Matthews and Kylie Rae in a highly anticipated match as part of the WrestleMania weekend festivities.
The announcement of their return has sparked speculation about whether this is a one-time appearance or the beginning of a more permanent comeback. Their time away from wrestling has only added to the intrigue surrounding their return, as fans eagerly await to see if they can recapture the magic that made them one of WWE’s most beloved women’s tag teams.
Regardless of what the future holds, their return to the ring is sure to be a can’t-miss moment for longtime fans.
