Roxanne Perez Hints at Main Roster Call-Up – The WWE main roster women’s division is rapidly growing, with new talent, high-profile returns, and rising stars from NXT making their way onto the scene.
The 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble Match saw the return of Charlotte Flair and Nikki Bella, both of whom are set to add star power to the division. However, one of the biggest surprises of the night was the debut of former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, who officially signed with WWE. Her arrival was confirmed during the premium live event, marking a significant addition to WWE’s women’s roster.
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus also made a memorable appearance in the Rumble, wearing the same ring gear from her debut 25 years ago. Stratus has expressed interest in making another WWE comeback to celebrate her 25-year milestone, and her participation in the match could signal more to come.
Beyond these returns, WWE’s women’s division has become more competitive with the addition of the Women’s Intercontinental and Women’s United States Championships. Further strengthening the roster, NXT talent is beginning to transition to the main stage. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer competed in the Rumble, though Giulia remains the reigning NXT Women’s Champion and Vaquer is still in the hunt for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
Meanwhile, former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez appears to have solidified her main roster call-up. Following her record-breaking performance in the Women’s Royal Rumble—lasting one hour, seven minutes, and 47 seconds—Perez spoke with Byron Saxton in a backstage digital exclusive. She reflected on her accomplishments in NXT before making her intentions clear for her future on RAW or SmackDown.
“And I’m going to continue to do the same exact thing here on the main roster,” Perez said. “So girls, get ready.”
With an influx of talent and a stacked roster, the WWE women’s division is entering a new era with more depth and competition than ever before.
