Roman Reigns Says ‘The Big Dog’ is Dead – Roman Reigns is fully focused on the future, leaving his past persona behind.
Before becoming “The Tribal Chief,” Reigns was known as “The Big Dog,” a character that saw him win multiple championships and serve as WWE’s top babyface. However, the persona struggled to connect with fans and was often met with rejection. His transformation in 2020, following a months-long hiatus, led to one of the most dominant runs in modern WWE history.
During a recent interview with IGN, Reigns made it clear that his old persona no longer holds any significance to him.
“There is no Big Dog. He’s dead now. I don’t even see the other guy. He doesn’t even exist. It doesn’t—didn’t happen.”
With WrestleMania 41 approaching, Reigns is expected to return to WWE television next month. As he continues his reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, his focus remains on solidifying his legacy rather than looking back at the past.
