Ricky Starks Now Known as Ricky Saints in WWE NXT – The former Ricky Starks has officially signed with WWE NXT, but not under the name fans have known him by.
After making his debut on the February 11 episode of NXT, Starks notably avoided saying his name, and WWE commentary followed suit. This trend continued on the February 18 edition of NXT, where everyone addressing him carefully avoided saying his name. It wasn’t until he put pen to paper that his new WWE ring name was revealed—Ricky Saints.
Signing his contract didn’t come without interruptions. First, Ethan Page confronted Saints, mocking him and reminding him that he would never reach the heights Page did when he first signed with NXT and immediately challenged for the NXT Championship. Before things could escalate, Je’Von Evans attacked Page, seeking revenge for previous issues between them.
Just as Saints was about to sign, Wes Lee stepped in. Earlier in the night, Saints had disrespected Lee, leading to a heated exchange. The confrontation resulted in a match being set for February 25. Saints responded by knocking Lee out of the ring before finally signing the contract, making his new identity official.
Later in the night, Ava announced a tag team match for next week—Ethan Page and Wes Lee will take on Ricky Saints and Je’Von Evans. The stakes are high as Saints begins his journey in WWE NXT.
