Rey Mysterio Out Indefinitely Following Assault by The New Day – Rey Mysterio’s status has been updated following the brutal attack by The New Day on the February 10th episode of WWE RAW. Mysterio, who competed against Logan Paul in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match, was defeated by Paul. After the match, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day viciously attacked the WWE Hall of Famer, leaving him sidelined ever since.
On the February 24th episode of WWE RAW, it was announced by the broadcast team that Mysterio will be out of action indefinitely as a result of the assault by The New Day. Despite Mysterio’s absence, Kingston and Woods continued their winning ways, defeating Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro of the LWO. After the match, the attack continued, with Kingston and Woods targeting Wilde and Del Toro. They also took down Dragon Lee when he attempted to intervene and make the save.
As of now, there’s no word on when Mysterio will return to action, but fans are eagerly awaiting any further updates on the legendary superstar’s condition.
