While still recovering in the ring, Max Caster’s music hit, and he offered Swerve a chance to immediately redeem himself by accepting his open challenge. Swerve responded with a headbutt and quickly dispatched Caster before turning his attention to the crowd.
Prince Nana then formally introduced Strickland, who reflected on his first pinfall loss since 2023, emphasizing that it took a low blow to put him down. “And I had to get hit in the nuts to do it,” he remarked, referring to Ricochet’s controversial victory. Swerve made it clear that he would get his hands on “Trevor” when the opportunity arose.
He also took a moment to acknowledge Prince Nana, calling him both his manager and confidant. Strickland then vowed to reclaim his family legacy—his robe—which he wore with pride. “We will not let you down, Nana, and we won’t let the late, great Jimmy Race down either,” he declared.
