Penta Has Wrestled With a Bicep Injury for Three Years – Penta recently joined Sheamus for a workout on Celtic Warrior Workouts, where he made a surprising revelation about a long-standing injury.
During the training session, Penta mentioned that he has been dealing with a torn bicep for years. While performing bicep curls, he casually noted, “a broken bicep.” When Sheamus asked if it was torn, Penta confirmed, “Yeah,” and reiterated that it remains torn.
Penta then explained how the injury originally happened. “Three years ago, one wrestler kicked me and broke my bicep,” he said. Despite the severity of the injury, he never underwent surgery to repair it. However, he assured Sheamus that he is still able to train and compete without issue.
The injury hasn’t slowed Penta down, as he has remained active in the ring over the past three years. Most recently, he wrestled Pete Dunne on WWE RAW, continuing his undefeated streak in singles competition within WWE.
While Penta appears to be managing the injury well, competing with a torn bicep for such an extended period is a testament to his toughness and dedication to wrestling.
Penta recently spoke with CBS Sports about transitioning to singles competition, stating that while he feels comfortable in both roles, there are key differences in his approach.
“I’m very comfortable because Penta myself in the ring is more aggressive, more violent, more different style around the world,” Penta said. “But when my brother is with me with the tag team, it’s different, more dynamic, more special, more high-flyer. This is the difference, but I feel comfortable with both.”
