Liv Morgan Discusses Whether She Prefers Playing a Heel or a Face – Since her shocking attack on Rhea Ripley last year, Liv Morgan has fully embraced her heel persona, aligning with Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day at WWE SummerSlam. With her new character direction generating buzz, Morgan recently shared her thoughts on whether she enjoys playing a heel or a babyface more.
Speaking on the A Cup of bELieve podcast, Morgan revealed that she naturally gravitates toward playing villains.
“I think I gravitate towards bad guys. Maybe naturally. I just feel like there’s a reason for everything. A reason for the behavior. I just feel like there’s a reason for everything. There’s a reason for this behavior. There’s something misunderstood there that I kind of want to figure out. That’s my toxic trait, that’s my red flag.”
When asked if she uses crowd reactions to gauge how well her character is connecting, Morgan admitted that hearing boos from the audience brings a unique thrill.
“It’s the best. It’s so funny, it’s such a different feeling than being cheered, being disliked. To get people riled up to where they want to voice their displeasure for you, that is such a funny feeling and I love it.”
Morgan’s transformation into a heel has been one of the most talked-about shifts in WWE’s women’s division. With Rhea Ripley still out of action, it remains to be seen how far Morgan’s darker persona will take her in 2024.
