Kevin Owens Signs New WWE Deal – Kevin Owens has seemingly confirmed that he has re-signed with WWE, following speculation about his contract status. The former Universal Champion sparked discussion with a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), where he humorously implied that his wrestling future was secure for the next five years.
Owens wrote, “If you guys help support my daughter’s Girl Scout troop by buying some cookies, I promise to keep wrestling for at least 4 years, 11 months, and 22 days more.” This lighthearted comment quickly led to speculation that he had inked a new deal with WWE.
This development comes just days after Owens fell short in his challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, where he lost to Cody Rhodes in a ladder match. Owens previously faced Rhodes for the title at Bash in Berlin, another hard-fought contest that saw the champion retain. Their rivalry also played out at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event in December, with Rhodes once again emerging victorious.
Prior to this, it was believed that Owens’ contract was set to expire either in late 2024 or early 2025. However, Fightful Select now reports that Owens has officially signed a new five-year deal with WWE. Sources close to the situation have confirmed that the contract took effect on the day of the Royal Rumble, ensuring that Owens remains with the company for the foreseeable future.
With his long-term future in WWE secured, it will be interesting to see what’s next for Owens as he continues his journey in the company.
