FOX Denies Ties to Rumored New Vince McMahon Project – Recent speculation surrounding Vince McMahon’s rumored return to the entertainment business gained attention after Conrad Thompson and Eric Bischoff discussed the topic on the 83 Weeks podcast.
Thompson claimed to have heard “whispers” about McMahon assembling a team of former WWE executives and reaching out to wrestling industry professionals, including cameramen, for an undisclosed project. Additionally, he mentioned an unverified rumor suggesting FOX’s potential involvement.
However, it appears that FOX has no connection to McMahon’s supposed plans. Andrew Marchand of The Athletic reported that a FOX representative denied any involvement, effectively dismissing that aspect of the rumor. Marchand addressed the situation in a statement shared on Twitter/X, saying:
“There is a report that Vince McMahon might start a wrestling company with FOX as a partner. If McMahon is planning that or not, I don’t know, but the FOX part is not true, according to a network spokesman.”
At this point, there is no official confirmation of McMahon launching a new venture, nor have any concrete details surfaced regarding what his next move might be. Given his recent departure from WWE amid controversy, speculation about his potential return to the industry continues to fuel discussion. Whether McMahon intends to re-enter the wrestling business or explore other entertainment opportunities remains to be seen.
For now, FOX has made it clear that it has no ties to the rumored project, leaving more questions than answers regarding McMahon’s future plans.
