Former WWE Star Ezekiel Jackson Confirms In-Ring Return

Former WWE Star Ezekiel Jackson Confirms In-Ring Return – After years away from the ring, former WWE star Ezekiel Jackson has officially announced his return to in-ring competition. Jackson, who first teased a comeback last year, confirmed his decision in a recent video on his YouTube channel.

Jackson began his WWE career in 2007, initially working in FCW under the name Rycklon before making his main roster debut in 2008 as Brian Kendrick’s bodyguard on ECW. He later captured the ECW Championship, becoming the final wrestler to hold the title before WWE discontinued the brand. He also had a stint in The Corre, a faction that emerged following the dissolution of Nexus.

During his time in WWE, Jackson won the Intercontinental Championship before departing the company in 2014. Following his WWE tenure, he briefly competed in TNA and Lucha Underground before stepping away from the ring to focus on his wrestling school, Bryckhouse Pro Wrestling.

Now, Jackson is preparing for his return to competition, with his first match scheduled for FWE in North Carolina on March 15. In his video announcement, he expressed his desire to finish his career on his own terms and hinted at potential matchups with wrestlers he has long wanted to face.

“Hey guys, what’s up? Day one vlog. I’ll be doing a few of these leading into my first match back in a few years. I’m scheduled to be at FWE in North Carolina on March 15th. So, you know, I keep asking myself if I ended my career the way I wanted to, and for the most part, I didn’t. So, I’ve always had that little bit of a chip on my shoulder, as to, I want to end this the way I want to. I’ve always had a bucket list of people that I would love to compete against, so we’re looking into scheduling a few things. I am accepting bookings, and this should be fun. I’m still big as hell, so I’m not worried about that. I do have to get in-ring shape, so today started the journey, adding more of a cardio-based workout, adding some rowing. I will be getting in the ring a few times this week, for the next few weeks, so it should be a fun journey. I’m excited to see how this plays out.”
