Elektra Lopez Reportedly in Talks With TNA Following WWE Departure – Earlier this month, WWE saw the departure of several talents, including Sonya Deville, Elektra Lopez, Giovanni Vinci, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Isla Dawn, Cedric Alexander, AOP (Rezar and Akam) alongside their manager Paul Ellering, and Blair Davenport. Among them, Elektra Lopez is already drawing interest from other promotions.
Lopez signed with WWE in 2021 and quickly aligned herself with the Legado del Fantasma faction, which included Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto in NXT. When the group moved to SmackDown in late 2022, Lopez initially remained in NXT but later reunited with them on the main roster in early 2024. Her last match in WWE took place on the December 6 episode of SmackDown, where she competed in a triple-threat match against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi as part of the WWE Women’s United States Title Tournament.
Following her release, Lopez is now subject to a 90-day non-compete clause. However, it appears her next destination may already be taking shape. According to Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass reporter Chris Featherstone, TNA Wrestling has expressed significant interest in signing her. Discussions are reportedly underway for her debut once her non-compete period ends.
Featherstone further reports that Lopez was recently backstage at a TNA television taping. While other promotions are also pursuing her, she is currently leaning toward joining TNA. If finalized, her addition would strengthen TNA’s growing roster of former WWE talent.
