Elektra Lopez Released by WWE, Full List of Roster Cuts Grows – Another name has been added to WWE’s latest wave of roster cuts. Elektra Lopez has been released from the company, as first reported by PWInsider on Sunday. Following the report, her profile was moved to the alumni section on WWE.com, signaling the end of her tenure with the company.
Lopez signed with WWE in early 2021 and made her NXT debut in June of that year. She quickly aligned herself with Legado Del Fantasma, working alongside Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro (formerly Raul Mendoza). However, when the faction was called up to SmackDown in 2022, Lopez was left behind, and Zelina Vega was inserted into the group instead. Despite this setback, she continued competing in NXT before eventually reuniting with Legado Del Fantasma in January 2024 after the group separated from Rey Mysterio’s LWO.
Lopez’s only singles match on SmackDown came on April 5, 2024, when she picked up a win over Zelina Vega. Her most recent high-profile appearance took place during the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament, where she competed in a triple-threat match against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi but was unsuccessful.
With Lopez’s departure, the total number of confirmed WWE releases over the past few days has reached 11. Below is the full list of names who have been let go since Friday night:
- Luke Gallows
- Karl Anderson
- Akam (AOP)
- Rezar (AOP)
