Elektra Lopez Comments on WWE Release – Elektra Lopez is staying active as she navigates the next steps in her career following her WWE release.
Over the weekend, Lopez’s profile was moved to the alumni section of WWE’s official website, signaling her departure from the company. PWInsider.com confirmed her release shortly after the update. The news came as part of a recent wave of roster cuts by WWE, which saw several notable names let go.
In response to the reports, Lopez (real name Karissa Rivera) took to Twitter the following day, hinting at an exciting future ahead. “Heard any good news lately? No? Well, make it quick—I’ve got a packed schedule for the next 90 days⏳,” she posted, showing that she is ready for new opportunities.
Lopez, who signed with WWE in 2021, was primarily known for her involvement with the Legado Del Fantasma faction. While the group made its SmackDown debut without her, Lopez rejoined the stable in January 2024, re-establishing her place on the brand. Her final match for WWE took place on the December 6, 2024 episode of SmackDown, where she and Naomi were defeated by Tiffany Stratton in a first-round match of the WWE United States Women’s Championship tournament. Lopez’s last singles match came in September during the WWE Speed Women’s Title Tournament, where she was eliminated in the first round by Kairi Sane.
Lopez is part of a broader group of talent that WWE recently parted ways with, which also includes The Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering, The Good Brothers, Cedric Alexander, Giovanni Vinci, Isla Dawn, Sonya Deville, and Blair Davenport.
