Eddie Kingston Provides Update on His Health Amid Recovery – Eddie Kingston recently appeared on Wrestling With The Narrative with Will Turner for an in-depth conversation, where he gave an honest update on his physical and mental state as he recovers from surgery.
When asked about how he’s feeling, Kingston didn’t sugarcoat his response.
“Physically, I feel like sht. Mentally, I feel like sht. So every day, I’m just working on getting better, you know what I’m saying?”
Kingston has been sidelined since suffering an injury against Gabe Kidd in May 2024, and his recovery has not been without obstacles. He detailed struggles with physical therapy, insurance issues, and unexpected stomach problems that have delayed his rehabilitation process.
“Physical therapy, it’s been tough just to get to physical therapy because of my insurance,” he explained. “I just got new insurance, and then right when I was ready to start my new physical therapy place, I started getting stomach issues.”
Kingston revealed that he underwent an endoscopic procedure, where doctors placed a camera down his throat to assess his condition. While he is still awaiting full results, early indications have ruled out any serious concerns.
“As of right now, it was nothing serious because I’m still awaiting results, but from the initial thing, he was like, no cancer, no ulcer, no nothing,” Kingston shared. “My primary doctor was like, ‘How’s stress for you?’ [laughs] I said, ‘How long do you have? Do we need a therapist to come in here?’”
Despite these challenges, Kingston is focused on improving his health and working through the mental and physical toll of his recovery. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see him back in action once he is fully healed.
