Backstage News and Speculation on New “Kalyx” Trademark – Speculation has been circulating that WWE’s recently filed trademark, “Kalyx,” was intended as a new ring name for Sol Ruca, whose real name is Calyx. However, sources within WWE have denied this claim.
Instead, the name is reportedly linked to WWE referee Jessika Carr. According to those familiar with the situation, Carr recently competed under a mask at the Evolve tapings. WWE has already filmed six episodes, and sources indicate she appeared in the fourth, participating in a tag team match. Her team was introduced as “already in the ring,” meaning they did not receive a formal entrance.
Carr, 33, has an extensive wrestling background before becoming WWE’s first full-time female referee. She previously wrestled on the independent circuit under the names Kennadi Brink and Jessie Kaye. Additionally, she made an NXT appearance as Kennedy Lewis before transitioning into officiating.
While WWE has yet to confirm Carr’s involvement with the “Kalyx” trademark, the connection suggests she may be exploring a return to in-ring competition.
