AEW Content to Remain Accessible on All Max Tiers – Despite upcoming adjustments to the sports content available on Max, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) programming will remain accessible to all subscribers, regardless of their subscription tier, according to a source close to the situation.
On Wednesday, reports confirmed that B/R Sports and CNN would no longer be available on Max’s ad-supported and least expensive tier starting March 30. Live sports such as NBA, NASCAR, and the NCAA basketball tournament will only be accessible through the platform’s standard and premium tiers. This marks a change from earlier plans to eventually charge a $9.99 monthly fee for CNN and B/R Sports content.
Given that AEW programming is listed under the B/R Sports section, there was initial concern that users on the ad-supported tier might lose access. However, it has now been clarified that AEW content will not be affected and will remain available across all tiers.
AEW began streaming on Max in January 2025 as part of its new multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). This agreement grants Max subscribers access to nearly all of AEW’s past televised content and pay-per-views. Additionally, Dynamite and Collision are simulcast live on Max, alongside their broadcasts on TBS and TNT. Later in 2025, fans will also have the option to purchase AEW pay-per-views at a discounted rate through the platform.
