2/4 NXT Viewership Drops, 18-49 Rating Holds Strong – This week’s episode of WWE NXT on The CW averaged 766,000 viewers, a 7.4% decline from last week. This marks the lowest audience for NXT in 2025 so far.
Despite the drop in total viewership, NXT saw a 5.3% increase in the key 18-49 demographic, drawing a 0.20 rating. This ties for the third-highest rating the show has recorded in that category since its move to The CW on October 8, 2024.
The episode aired against stiff competition, going head-to-head with an NBA matchup between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers on TNT. The game drew 1.308 million viewers and led all of television for the night with a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Even with the week-to-week decline, NXT continues to trend upward compared to last year. The show’s total audience was up 17.9% from the same week in 2024, while its 18-49 rating also saw a 5.3% improvement.
NXT has been experiencing steady growth since its move to The CW, consistently delivering strong year-over-year gains. While this week’s drop in total viewers is notable, the positive momentum in the key demo suggests that NXT is holding its ground despite facing major sports competition.
