WWE Reduces Touring Schedule Ahead of WrestleMania Season – As WWE begins 2025, a significant change to its touring approach is set to impact talent, crew, and fans. Following its traditional holiday live event tour, WWE will pause all house shows until mid-March, focusing solely on television and premium live events.
This marks a notable departure from the company’s historically rigorous touring schedule, a shift enabled by WWE’s reliance on lucrative media rights deals rather than live event gate revenue. The break allows talent and staff to recover and focus on key storylines as WrestleMania 41 approaches.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select noted that talent is pleased with this lighter schedule, which eliminates house shows for nearly three months. WWE has hinted at potential ticket price increases for fans as a way to offset the reduced live event frequency.
European Tour Resumes in March
WWE will return to live touring mid-March with a European tour that includes house shows, TV tapings for RAW and SmackDown, and premium live events. RAW will continue airing live due to its Netflix contract.
European Tour Schedule:
- March 14: SmackDown – Barcelona, Spain
- March 15: Live Event – Dortmund, Germany
- March 16: Live Event – Hannover, Germany
- March 17: RAW – Brussels, Belgium
- March 21: SmackDown – Bologna, Italy
- March 22: Live Event – Belfast, Northern Ireland
- March 23: Live Event – Nottingham, England
- March 24: RAW – Glasgow, Scotland
- March 28: SmackDown – London, England
- March 29: Live Event – Vienna, Austria
- March 30: Live Event – Amsterdam, Netherlands
- March 31: RAW – London, England
This streamlined schedule represents a more focused and efficient approach as WWE prioritizes televised content and WrestleMania buildup over traditional house shows.
