WWE RAW Viewership Rises for Final Episode on USA Network – The December 30 episode of WWE RAW experienced a notable uptick in viewership, drawing 1.596 million viewers compared to the 1.453 million viewers recorded on December 23. This marked a positive trend for the flagship show as it bid farewell to the USA Network.
In addition to the rise in overall viewership, RAW also improved its performance in the key 18-49 demographic. Monday’s episode earned a 0.53 rating, a solid increase from the previous week’s 0.42 rating.
Despite this growth, RAW faced stiff competition from Monday Night Football, which featured the Detroit Lions taking on the San Francisco 49ers. The game attracted 10.154 million viewers and a 3.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic on ESPN. Additionally, the same game drew another 6.834 million viewers and a 0.83 demo rating on ABC, demonstrating the challenge RAW faced from such a widely watched event.
Even with this competition, RAW managed to finish third on cable for the evening, showcasing its ability to retain a strong audience despite the presence of major sporting events.
This episode was particularly significant as it marked RAW’s final broadcast on the USA Network, closing a major chapter in the show’s history. WWE is set to transition RAW to Netflix starting in January 2025, which will bring new opportunities and challenges for the long-running program.
