Updated Lineup for 1/29 AEW Dynamite, MJF Set to Appear – AEW has confirmed that former AEW World Champion MJF will appear on the upcoming episode of Dynamite in Huntsville, Alabama. The company teased his segment on social media, referencing his recent conflicts with Jeff Jarrett and Hangman Page.
“Last Wednesday on Dynamite, @the_MJF had harsh words for @realjeffjarrett’s AEW World Title aspirations + a tense face-off with Hangman Page! What will MJF have to say TOMORROW NIGHT?” AEW posted.
MJF and Jarrett have been at odds since Worlds End, where MJF offered to help Jarrett in his AEW World Title pursuit, claiming he would be the easiest to manipulate and defeat. Jarrett rejected the offer, leading to a heated exchange in which he called MJF a “one-hit wonder” and vowed to make the most of 2025.
In addition to MJF’s appearance, a match between Jay White and Wheeler Yuta has been announced. On last week’s Dynamite, White attempted to save Cope from the Death Riders, but Yuta hit him with a low blow, allowing the group to take him out. Now, White looks for payback when he faces Yuta one-on-one.
AEW has also confirmed the following matches for Dynamite:
- TBS Championship Match – Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Yuka Sakazaki
- Jeff Jarrett vs. Claudio Castagnoli – If Jarrett wins, he earns an AEW World Title shot
- Jay White vs. Wheeler Yuta
- Will Ospreay vs. Brian Cage
With a loaded card and MJF’s return to Dynamite, AEW continues to build momentum heading into its next major event.
