Omos Announces Return to WWE – On Saturday’s Pro Wrestling NOAH event in Osaka, Omos confirmed the end of his brief but impactful tenure with the promotion.
While addressing the crowd, Omos expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and vowed to return to NOAH in the future. He also relinquished his half of the GHG Tag Team Championships, passing the title to his Team 2000X stablemate, Daga. As a result, Daga and Jack Morris are now recognized as the new champions. Omos also confirmed that he is heading back to WWE, marking an end to his successful run in Japan.
Omos’ partnership with Morris began with a major statement. At NOAH’s New Year’s Day event at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Omos was revealed as Morris’ mystery partner. The duo captured the GHC Tag Team Championships by defeating the legendary pairing of Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura. During his three-week stint in NOAH, Omos competed in six matches, remaining undefeated and solidifying his dominance in the promotion.
Prior to his NOAH debut, Omos had been relatively inactive in WWE, with his last televised match taking place at the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania 40. That appearance was one of only two matches he had on WWE programming in 2024, the other being the Royal Rumble. However, he remained active on WWE’s live event circuit throughout the year.
As Omos prepares to return to WWE, his undefeated NOAH run and championship reign have added a new layer to his resume, positioning him as a formidable presence for the company moving forward.
