In championship action, Giulia defeated Roxanne Perez to win the NXT Women’s Championship, marking her first reign with the title. Giulia countered Perez’s armbar before landing a knee strike and a Northern Lights Bomb for the decisive victory.
Later, Trick Williams defended the NXT Championship against Oba Femi and Eddy Thorpe in a chaotic triple threat match. Thorpe was attacked before the bout but returned mid-match to prevent a pinfall. In the end, Femi capitalized by slamming Williams to capture the NXT Championship.
With the victory, Femi becomes the fifth Black NXT Champion, following Big E (2012), Keith Lee (2019), Carmelo Hayes, and Trick Williams (2022). His win also marks just the second time in WWE history that the NXT Championship has changed hands between two Black competitors, a significant milestone in the title’s lineage.
Adding to the excitement, Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan were spotted in the audience. Additionally, CM Punk made an appearance backstage, as reported by PWInsider. Punk, fresh off a victory over Seth Rollins on the Netflix premiere of RAW, has been a familiar face at NXT events recently, further fueling speculation about his future WWE plans.
