1/17 WWE SmackDown Results – We are live from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, where Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett walk through the arena to their position at ringside.

Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring to start the show.

Rey welcomes everyone to Smackdown.  He says this is the home of the 6 . . . 1 . . . 9.  He says it feels great to be back home in front of his people, his raza, his city, and his family.  He mentions that his daughter is in the crowd.  Rey says he couldn’t think of a better place to reminisce about doing the impossible again.  He says he is going to be in the Royal Rumble.  Rey wants to take it back to 2006.  He says he entered the Rumble at number two and won the match.  He says it didn’t end there.  He went on to main event at Wrestlemania and he won the title at Wrestlemania 22.  Rey says he is not going to lie.  The competition is heavy this year.  Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, John Cena.  

It is going to be tough, but remember when he won in 2006, he did it for a friend we all know so well.  The crowd chants ‘Eddie’.

Kevin Owens’ music interrupts and he comes out with his title belt.

Kevin tells Rey he is sorry to interrupt him.  He says he had to come out here.  You were talking about winning the Royal Rumble.  Kevin tells Rey, from the bottom of his heart, there are a lot of people he respects, but few he respects as much as he respects Rey.  Kevin says there is no one he respects in the industry as much as he respects Rey.  Kevin says he has accomplished a lot of things.  He main evented Wrestlemania with Steve Austin.  He won the tag titles with his then best friend in the main event of Wrestlemania.  Kevin says he gets to stand here with this championship.  This is the belt he saw all of his idols win.  Now he stands here as the true, rightful WWE Champion.

There is one thing left for him to accomplish to make sure his career is complete.  That is to step in the ring and have a one on one match with the legendary Rey Mysterio.  Kevin says he hopes Rey wins the Royal Rumble.  He says he cannot wait for Rey to beat all of those idiots.  Kevin wants Rey to promise that Kevin is the champion that Rey picks so Kevin can have his dream match at Wrestlemania.

Rey tells Kevin he is all about challenges and he loves competition.  Rey tells Kevin he is not the champion.  He says Cody is the champion.  Rey says if he wins the Royal Rumble and you win, Rey says he would be glad to face Kevin for the title.

Kevin says he is the champion because he has this title and he earned it.  Did Cody brainwash you?

Rey wants to know what is going on with Kevin.  First Drew, now you.  He says Kevin is as delusional as his son, Dominik.

Kevin swings at Rey and Rey drop kicks Kevin into the ropes but Kevin gets out of the ring to avoid a 619.

Backstage:

Bianca Belair is in the back and Naomi stops by.  Naomi says there are no leads on who attacked Jade.  Bianca says it wasn’t her who hit Naomi, it was Candice. Naomi says they get some get back on Candice and Nia. Naomi suggests that Bianca wrap it up so she doesn’t hit Naomi again.

We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Nick Aldis says he will give Rey what he wants in San Diego and he gets a match against Kevin Owens. Cody Rhodes shows up and apologizes for not being there to help him. Rey says he wants Cody to be able to be cleared and he will leave something for Cody at the Royal Rumble. Nick asks Cody what the doctor said and Cody says he is cleared.  He says he has an addendum for the ladder match and he needs Cody to sign it and have Kevin sign it so what happens at Saturday Night’s Main Event doesn’t happen. Cody asks if Kevin signed it and Nick says he is his next stop.  Cody says he will sign it when Kevin does.

Bianca Belair & Naomi vs. Naomi & Nia Jax

Nia attacks Naomi from behind and then Candice with forearms to Bianca.  Nia sends Bianca face first into the mat and follows with a head butt.  Candice tags in and Bianca with shoulder tackles and a marching delayed suplex.  Bianca with a running shoulder into the corner and Bianca with punches from the turnbuckles.  Nia tries to attack Bianca from behind but Bianca with a back flip and Nia hits Candice.  Nia is sent to the floor and Bianca presses Candice over her head and she slams Candice onto Nia.

Bianca sends Candice back into the ring but Nia grabs Bianca’s ankle and Candice with a drop kick.  Candice with kicks to Bianca followed by knees.  NIa tags in and she works on Bianca’s back while Naomi gets back to the apron.  Nia plays with Bianca’s hair and Bianca whips Nia with it.  Bianca with a drop kick and Nia comes off the ropes and misses an elbow drop.  NIa knocks Bianca through the ropes to the floor.  Candice tags in and she sends Bianca into the apron.  Candice gets a near fall when they return to the ring.  Candice with a bow and arrow.  Bianca with a forearm and Candice with a knee for a near fall.  Candice kicks Bianca.

Candice with an elbow to the back and she chokes Bianca in the ropes.  Bianca with a rollup for a near fall.  Candice goes to the turnbuckles and hits a cross body but Bianca rolls through and holds on.  Candice escapes a slam attempt and she pulls Bianca’s hair to stop the tag.  Candice and Bianca collide and Bianca cannot make the tag.  Candice misses the step up back senton but Nia pulls Naomi off the apron to prevent the tag and Nia sends Naomi into the ringside barrier.  Bianca with a rollup for a near fall.  Candice with a drop kick to the knee and Nia tags in.  Nia with a forearm to the back and a body block against the ropes and a Samoan drop.  

Nia runs into a boot in the corner and Bianca with an elbow to Candice and she goes to the apron to avoid NIa.  Bianca sends Candice into the ring post and Nia with a forearm to stop Bianca on the turnbuckles.  Nia goes for a super Samoan drop but Bianca sends Nia to the mat and she hits a cross body.  Both women are down.  Naomi tags in and she connects with a kick and a slingshot X Factor for a near fall.  Naomi with punches and Nia pushes her away.  Nia misses a shoulder into the corner and hits the turnbuckles.  Naomi with a split legged moonsault and Candice breaks up the cover.  Naomi kicks Candice and Bianca tags in.

Nia with a ehad butt to Bianca and a Samoan drop to Naomi.  Candice tags in and Bianca with a spear to NIa.  Bianca goes for the handspring moonsault but Candice with a drop kick and a step up back senton.  Nia with a back senton to Bianca and Candice gets a near fall.  Bianca catapults Candice into the turnbuckles and then hits a spinebuster followed by a handspring moonsault.  NIa tries to break up the cover with a leg drop but Bianca moves and Nia hits Candice.  Bianca clotheslines Nia off the turnbuckles.  Naomi tags in and htis a Bubba Bomb for the three count.

Winners:  Naomi and Bianca Belair

We are told that Bianca and Naomi will be defending the tag titles against Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend on January 28th in Atlanta.

– We are back and Byron Saxton talked to Bayley earlier today.

He asks about tonight’s title match against Tiffany Stratton and what does it mean to her.  Bayley says dreams are made of being in a title match at a sold out show in her home state.  She talks about being in the main event.  She says last year at this time, she won the Royal Rumble.  She does not know if she met her potential when she was champion.  She says she felt her reign was cut short by Tiffany when she helped Nia win the title from her.  Bayley says Tiffany is willing to turn on her best friend to get to the top.  She respects that but it also makes her want to beat Tiffany even more.

Backstage:

Michin tells B-Fab she almost had Chelsea beat but the numbers are too much.  B-Fab says she knows that Chelsea will get another shot. Piper enters and says the locker room is clear for her to enter. Chelsea asks B-Fab and Michin to stand for the only person to ever defend the US Title. B-Fab says that Chelsea shouldn’t be champion. Piper tells B-Fab not to get any closer. B-Fab says she will talk to Nick to face Piper and when she beats Piper, she will go after Green.

– Jimmy Uso says he is going to take care of Carmelo Hayes tonight.

We go to commercial.

Jimmy Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes

On his way to the ring, Carmelo Hayes has a few words for JImmy Uso.  He says Roman is going to the Royal Rumble, Jey has a world title match, but what do you have?  You are living in the shadow of your brother living in the shadow of Roman Reigns.  Hayes asks how will Jim take shots at him sitting on the bench.  He tells Jimmy to lace up those shoes so he can show why Melo Don’t MIss.

Jimmy brings Hayes into the ring and the referee starts the match. JImmy with punches and he sets for a super kick but Hayes stops short and goes to the ring. Hayes drops Jimmy on the top rope and he kicks Jimmy in the back of the head and then the body. Hayes with chops to Jimmy and he adds some punches. Jimmy with a hip toss into a neck breaker. JImmy misses a running hip into the corner when Hayes moves. Jimmy with a punch to Hayes on the apron. Jimmy with a suplex on the apron. Jimmy with a suicide dive and he sends Hayes over the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Hayes with kicks in the corner.  Hayes with a forearm to the back and he puts Jimmy on the turnbuckles.   Hayes goes for a superplex but Jimmy blocks it and he connects with elbows to send Hayes to the mat.  Jimmy misses a twisting senton and Hayes with a springboard DDT for a near fall.  Jimmy goes for a suplex but Hayes blocks it.  Both men with clotheslines at the same time and both get a near fall.  Jimmy with an uppercut and a dragon whip.  Jimmy gets Hayes on his shoulders but Hayes escapes.  Hayes with La Mistica for a near fall.  Hayes with a chop and Jimmy with a pop up Samoan drop for a near fall.

Jimmy goes up top and Hayes catches Jimmy with First 48 for a near fall.  Hayes goes up top and sets for Nothin But Net and Jimmy moves and Jimmy with a super kick and he gets a near fall.  JImmy with a running hip in the corner.  Hayes with a rollup for a near fall and a super kick.  Jimmy with a spear and he goes up top for a frog splash but . . . 

Jacob Fatu appears on the apron.  Tama Tonga pushes Jimmy off the turnbuckles and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner:  Jimmy Uso (by disqualification)

After the match, Tama and Fatu attack Jimmy.  Fatu with a running hip into the corner and Tama with a hesitation DDT.  They kick Jimmy and Hayes says he has this. Fatu clotheslines Hayes.  Tama puts Jimmy in the corner and Fatu with another running hip into the corner.  

Solo Sikoa’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and it is time to acknowledge Solo, but the crowd is too loud and Solo tosses the mic down and he leaves the ring, takes off his jacket, and walks away.

Fatu is in shock at what happened to the man he loves so much.

Fatu picks up the mic.

Fatu asks if this is what it comes to.  He mentions the disrespect and he says he is tired of the hate.  Fatu says on his worst day, you can’t touch him.  He says he doesn’t give a damn if you cheer them or boo them.  He says he will not let you act like he never got his.  Did you think he was crazy or off the hinges?  Did you think he was losing it?  The thing about this situatio is that he is just getting started.

LA Knight’s music plays and he attaks Fatu and Tama from behind.  Knight with a clothesline to Tama and kicks to Fatu.  Knight with a double leg take down and punches to Tama.  Knight punches Fatu.  Tama grabs Knight by the leg and Fatu with a running back elbow.

Braun Strowman’s music plays and Tama with a pescado but Braun catches him and tosses him into the ringside barrier.

Braun gets in the ring and they circle each other but Fatu is pulled to the floor by Tama. Are we getting Impromptception later tonight?

Backstage:

Angel and Humberto are told by Santos that you exposed Pretty Deadly as liars and you made them choke on your words.  Lopez tells them that one win does not make them champions.  Santos talks about how they will take the moment away from the Motor City Machine Guns.  They never had the red carpet rolled out for them and they were never given respect.  Santos says you have to take it.  That is what Legado does.

WWE Tag Team Championship – #1 Contenders Match
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Los Garza

Alex and Angel start and Alex holds on when Angel tries to send him off the ropes.  Alex with a leg sweep and cover.  Angel with a leg sweep and cover.  They go to a stalemate.  Angel with a punch and chop.  Angel with a side head lock and Humberto tags ina nd he hits a leap frog seated splash.  Humberto with a back roll into a moonsault for a near fall.  Humberto with a forearm but Alex with chops.  Sabin tags in and they hit a double back body drop.  They kick Angel and hit the dream sequence.  Sabin with a snap mare and reverse chin lock to Humberto.  Angel tags in and Sabin with a spinning head scissors that is stopped by a drop kick from Angel.  Angel knocks Alex off the apron and then they hit a running knee and kick combination against the ropes.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sabin with punches but Angel with a Gory special and Humberto tags in and hits a slingshot cutter for a near fall.  Angel misses Sabin and hits Humberto in the corner.  Sabin with an enzuigiri and he ties to make the tag to Alex.  He makes the tag and Alex with punches to Humberto.  Alex with a running forearm and he punches Angel off the apron.  Alex with boots to Humberto followed by a head scissors.  Alex runs into a boot but Sabin tags in and he hits a dragon screw on the right leg and Alex hits one on the left leg.  Sabin gets a near fall.  Alex tags in and Sabin with an enzuigiri and Alex with a single leg take down and a figure four leg lock.  Sabin with a figure four to Angel.  Humberto gets to the ropes to force a break.  Alex kicks Humberto in the hamstring.

Humberto kicks Alex into the turnbuckle and Humberto with a one arm sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Angel tags in and Humberto with a clothesline to Sabin.  Humberto puts Sabin on Angel’s shoulders.  Humberto with a sprinboard kick and a power bomb and power slam combination for a near fall.  Angel with a chop and Humberto tags in and they set for NTY but Sabin blocks it.  Sabin with a tornado DDT and he goes for a suicide dive onto Angel and Humberto and connects.  Humberto is sent back into the ring and Alex with a clothesline.  Sabin tags in and Pretty Deadly distract the referee.

Humberto rolls up Sabin but the referee was distracted.  Sabin and Alex with boots to Humberto and then they hit Skull and Bones for the three count.

Winners:  Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin

Backstage:

Nick Aldis walks in the back and he stops by to talk to Kevin about the Royal Rumble match. Kevin asks about the Addendum and he wants to know why Cody hasn’t signed it. Kevin says he won’t sign it until Cody does. He says he has to look at the Addendum but he has a match to get ready for.

Back to commercial.

Piper Niven vs. B-Fab

Fab has words for Green and Piper tries to attack her from behind but misses.  Piper blocks an Iris hwhip attempt and Fab with a thrust kick and a neck breaker into an X Factor for a near fall.  Piper with a uranage but she misses a back senton.  Fab floats over into a DDT and she gets a near fall.  Fab with a bicycle kick to send Piper to the apron.  Fab with a second one that sends Piper to the floor.  Fab goes to the floor and she sends Piper back into the ring.  Fab tells Green to stay back and then she hits a clothesline to Green off the apron.  Piper with a back senton and a Piper Driver for the three count.

Winner:  Piper Niven

After the match, Piper and Green attack Fab. Michin makes her way to the ring with a kendo stick and she hits PIper.  Michin with a super kick to get the kendo stick back.

– Rey Mysterio walks in the back.

– We take a look back at the life of Bob Uecker.

We go to commercial.

– We see Tiffany’s cash in from two weeks ago.

Backstage:

Byron is with Tiffany and Tiffany corrects Byron by saying she created Tiffstory.  Byron brings up Bayley’s comments earlier. Tiffany says Bayley is right.  She had a ton of big moments last year and in her career.  Tiffany says she has too.  She was the youngest Ms. Money in the Bank and the champion.  Tiffany says Bayley will have to sit back and watch that dream die.

Rey Mysterio vs. Kevin Owens

They lock up and Kevin with a clean break.  They lock up and Kevin with a waist lock take down.  Rey with a wrist lock take down.  Kevin with a kick and forearm followed by a wrist lock.  Rey uses the ropes to escape and Kevin with a side head lock.  Kevin with a shoulder tackle that sends Rey to the floor.  Kevin and Rey argue over who the crowd is insulting.  They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Kevin sends Rey to the mat but Rey with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Rey with a waist lock and Kevin with a standing switch.  Rey with a head scissors that sends Kevin into the ropes but Kevin escapes from the 619 spot.  Rey with a forearm.  Rey tries for a head scissors but Kevin blocks it and he sends Rey to the mat with a gourdbuster slam.  Kevin with a back senton.  Keivn with a hard Irish whip that sends Rey sternum first into the turnbuckles.

Kevin with another Irish whip but Rey gets his boot up and follows with an elbow.  Rey gets onto Kevin’s shoulders and he tries to send Kevin over the top rope but Kevin blocks it and he connects with a knee to the midsection. Kevin with forearms to Rey against the ringside barrier.  Kevin puts Rey on the apron and Rey with punches and a kick.  Rey with a head scissors off the apron that sends Kevin into the ringside barrier.  Rey with a sliding splash onto Kevin on the floor.  

We go to commercial.

We are back and KEvin with a reverse chin lock.  We see footage of Kevin hitting a back senton on the floor during the commercial break.  Kevin with an Irish whip and he goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Rey lands on his feet.  Rey sends Kevin shoulder first into the ring post when Rey moves.  Rey goes up top and Rey with a seated splash and a wheelbarrow into a bulldog for a near fall.  Rey with a head scissors that sends Kevin into the ropes.  Kevin with a super kick and he tries for a pop up power bomb but Rey leaps over Kevin.  Rey with a tornado DDT for a near fall.  Rey puts Kevin on the turnbuckles and Kevin with punches and head butts to send Rey to the mat.  Kevin setns for a frog splash and hits it for a near fall.

Kevin with forearms to Rey against the ropes.  Kevin puts Rey on the turnbuckles and Kevin joins him.  Kevin goes for a superplex but Rey with punches to stop Kevi and Rey with a sunset flip power bomb and a Code Red for a near fall.  Rey misses a springboard cross body when Kevin moves.  Kevin with a kick and stunner for a near fall.  Kevin goes up top and he sets for a swanton but Rey gets his knees up.  Kevin falls into the ropes and Rey with a 619.  Rey goes up top but Kevin backs into the refreee and Rey crotches himself.  Kevin with a pop up power bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Kevin Owens

After the match, Rey and Kevin shake hands and Kevin with a kick and he sets for a package pile driver but Cody Rhodes’ music plays and Kevin has to stop.

Cody goes after Kevin and he throws many punches.  Kevin is pulled to the floor and Cody with a running forearm to Kevin against the announce table. Cody gets in the ring and Kevin stands on a storage case in the crowd.

Backstage:

We are back with Nick Aldis. He says he tried to be patient with Kevin and Cody.  He says they are out of control.  Nick says next week, at Saturday Night’s Main Event, you will relinquish your title belts and then sign the Addendum.  Nick says someone else would moderate it and it will be Shawn Michaels.

Backstage:

Kit and Elton walk in the back and Ciampa and Gargano argue about how what happened. Kit says you already beat Motor City Machine Guns. Ciampa says that Pretty Deadly are a joke and no one takes you seriously. Johnny says they believe in Pretty Deadly. Apollo Crews stops by and he wants to know what is wrong.  He says if you keep letting them string you along, it won’t get you anywhere. Johnny Gargano attacks Apollo Crews and slams his head into a storage case.

– Braun Strowman will face Jacob Fatu at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

– LA Knight faces Tama Tonga on Smackdown next week.  Pretty Deadly faces the Motor City Machine Guns in the next set of the Four Team Round Robin a-Go-Go.

– Roxanne Perez is in the front row for the main event. But first, we go to commercial.

– We take a look at Charlotte Flair with a video package.

WWE Women’s Championship
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Bayley

They lock up and Bayley backs Tiffany intot he corner and she gives a clean break.  They lock up and Tiffany backs Bayley into the corner and Tiffany with a clean break.  They lock up and Tiffany with a side head lock.  Bayley with a head scissors.  Tiffany with a waist lock and Baylye holds on to the ropes to avoid an O’Connor Roll.  Bayley gets a near fall.  They lock up and Bayley with a snap mare and a back elbow to the back of the head.  Tiffany with a shoulder tackle and Tiffany with a few back handsprings.  Tiffany avoids a clothesline but Bayley sets for the belly-to-belly suplex but Tiffany blocks it.  Bayley gets a near fall and Tiffany with a slap to the face.  Bayley clotheslines Tiffany over the top rope to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Bayley with a jaw breaker.  Bayley sends Tiffany to the apron and she hits a cutter in the ropes.  Bayley goes to the floor and she hits the baseball slide by the ring post.  Bayley goes for another one but Tiffany ducks to avoid it.  Tiffany pulls Bayley’s shoulder into the ring post and then she Irish whips Bayley shoulder first into the ringside barrier.  Tiffany gets a near fall.  Tiffany gets another near fall.  Tiffany hyper-extends the arm.  Tiffany with an arm wringer and she gets a near fall.  Bayley with an Irish whip and Tiffany sends Bayley to the apron.  Bayley leaps over a baseball slide but Tiffany drops Bayley on the apron.

Tiffany trips Bayley onto the apron for a near fall.  Tiffany kicks Bayley to the floor and the referee holds Tiffany back.  Tiffany goes to the floor and runs into a back elbow.  Bayley hot shots Tiffany on the apron and they return to the ring for a near fall.  Tiffany with a punch and Bayley blocks a kick and connects with a knee.  Tiffany with a clothesline but she misses a running hip in the ropes and Bayley kicks Tiffany to the floor.  Bayley goes for a suicide dive but Tiffany with a forearm and she puts Bayey in the ring skirt and Tiffany with a running knee against the side of the ring.  Tiffany knocks Bayley off the apron with a running hip.

Tiffany goes for a pescado but Bayley catches Tiffany and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor.  The referee checks on both women and then he returns to the ring to start his count.  Both of them beat the count back into the ring.  Bayley with forearms to Tiffany and a clothesline or two.  Bayley with a Saito suplex and she sends Tiffany to the apron and hangs her in the ropes for a running knee.  Bayley gets a near fall.  Bayley with an Irish whip and she puts Tiffany on he middle rope and Bayley with a springboard double knee drop to the midsection for a near fall.  Tiffany with an Irish whip and Bayley tries to flaot over but Bayley catches her and hits a rolling Death Valley Driver and a back senton for a near fall.  

Tiffany goes up top and Bayley stops her.  Bayley climbs the turnbuckles for a superplex and she hits it.  Bayley gets a near fall.  Tiffany knocks Bayley to the floor and into the announce table.  Tiffany with a swanton and a power bomb for a near fall.  Tiffany with a Fujiwara arm bar.  Bayley with a rollup for a near fall.  Bayley sends Tiffany to the floor but Tiffany pulls Bayley to the floor.  Tiffany sets for a cartwheel into an Alabama Slam but Bayley blocks it and Bayley puts Tiffany on the announce table and suplexes her to the floor.  

Bayley gets in Roxanne’s face and Roxanne has that look in her eyes.

Bayley sends Tiffany back into the ring and Bayley goes up top and hits an elbow drop for a near fall.  Bayley with a cross face but Tiffany escapes.   Tiffany blocks a belly-to-belly suplex and Tiffany with a spinebuster for a near fall.  Tiffany kicks Bayley and pulls her into position.  Tiffany sets for a Finlay Slam but Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.  Tiffany with an arm breaker and she goes to the turnbuckles for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever but Bayley pulls Tiffany off the turnbuckles.  Bayley with a sunset flip buckle bomb for a near fall.  Baley gets Tiffany up and hits a spinning side slam for a near fall.  

Bayley sets for Rose Plant but Tiffany escapes.  Tiffany with a back slide for a near fall.  Bayley goes for Rose Plant but Tiffany counters with an Alabama Slam and Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the three count.

The WWE Women’s Championship will be on the line as Tiffany Stratton makes her first title defense against Bayley. Stratton captured the gold on January 3, cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Nia Jax. Bayley earned her shot by winning a Fatal Four-Way last week, outlasting Jax, Naomi, and Bianca Belair. Bayley and Stratton share a competitive history dating back to May 2024, with encounters across singles, tag team, and multi-woman matches.

Belair and Naomi will also be in action tonight, teaming up against Jax and Candice LeRae in a non-title match. Although their Women’s Tag Team Championships aren’t at stake, Belair and Naomi are preparing for an upcoming defense against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, who earned a shot after defeating The Unholy Union on NXT.

In tag team action, The Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, will face Angel and Berto of Los Garza. Both duos come into the match with momentum after securing victories last week—Shelley and Sabin toppled A-Town Down Under, while Los Garza bested Pretty Deadly.

Carmelo Hayes makes his return to televised competition tonight, squaring off with Jimmy Uso. Hayes’ last SmackDown appearance was in December against Sami Zayn. Also, Solo Sikoa will break his silence on Roman Reigns after failing to acknowledge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion following his Tribal Combat defeat.

With these intriguing matchups, SmackDown promises a night full of action.
