Keith Lee Shows Off Slimmer Look During AEW Hiatus – Keith Lee, who has been absent from the ring for over a year, appears to have made significant progress in his recovery. Lee has not wrestled since being pulled from last year’s AEW Worlds End pay-per-view due to being medically unfit to compete. Originally scheduled to face Swerve Strickland, Lee’s spot in the event was filled by Dustin Rhodes, who went on to lose to Strickland.
Afterward, Lee disclosed on Twitter that he had been wrestling with an injury since September 2022. While initially managed, his condition worsened after ROH Final Battle, requiring him to undergo two surgeries. Updates on Lee’s status have been scarce since then.
This extended hiatus is not Lee’s first experience with health challenges. While in WWE, he was sidelined for months after contracting COVID-19, which led to heart issues that temporarily prevented him from training or competing.
Encouragingly, Keith Lee’s wife, WWE’s Michin (formerly Mia Yim), recently shared a photo of the couple on Twitter. In the image, Lee looks healthier and appears to have undergone a remarkable physical transformation, showcasing his dedication to improving his condition.
While there is no official word on when Lee might return to AEW, fans are optimistic about his progress and potential comeback.
