Eric Bischoff Weighs In on Corey Graves’ WWE Frustration

Eric Bischoff Weighs In on Corey Graves’ WWE Frustration – Corey Graves recently stirred the wrestling world with a social media outburst, revealing his frustration over being moved to the WWE NXT commentary team. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Graves claimed he was told he was no longer “famous enough” for the main roster. His promise to express more thoughts on last Tuesday’s episode of NXT was cut short when he was removed from the show and spotted leaving Orlando.

It remains unclear whether Graves’ actions are part of a storyline or a genuine dispute with WWE. However, wrestling veteran Eric Bischoff shared his thoughts on the situation during his “83 Weeks” podcast. He praised the ambiguity of the scenario, suggesting it could be an example of WWE storytelling at its finest.

“This to me right now is one of the most interesting scenarios potentially for Wrestlemania. You got the big names, everybody can fantasy book and it’s all f*****g awesome but this, I am so hoping that this is an angle.” Bischoff said. “The magic is that sweet spot in the middle. ‘Yeah I know it’s all scripted, okay great, you know it is what it is. This is real. Or is it? Is that real? I don’t know’ …  That’s the sweet spot and that’s what sucks people in.”

If Graves’ frustrations lead to an in-ring return, it would mark his first match since 2014, when serious neck and head injuries forced him into retirement. Some analysts have speculated that this could pave the way for a showdown with fellow commentator Pat McAfee, though WWE has not confirmed any such plans.

As fans debate the authenticity of Graves’ comments, the intrigue surrounding his status continues to build.
