Bayley Confronts Roxanne Perez, Charlotte Flair Attends NXT

Bayley Confronts Roxanne Perez, Charlotte Flair Attends NXT – Roxanne Perez took center stage to close out the January 14 episode of WWE NXT on The CW, delivering an emotional address about her future after her NXT Women’s Championship loss to Giulia at New Year’s Evil. The former champion appeared somber as she reflected on her journey and offered congratulations to Giulia. However, her tone shifted dramatically when she turned on the NXT crowd, proclaiming that no one loved the brand as much as she did.

Perez referenced the iconic NXT Four Horsewomen, setting the stage for a stunning return. Bayley, one of NXT’s most celebrated alumni, made her way to the ring. A key figure in building the NXT women’s division alongside Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks (now AEW’s Mercedes Moné), Bayley offered sage advice to Perez. However, Perez rejected her words, stating that Bayley had become just another disappointing role model.

Tension boiled over as Bayley declared that while Perez remained stuck in her bitterness, she would move on to claim the WWE Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton. The CW broadcast ended there, but viewers on Netflix International saw an explosive brawl between the two, bringing the episode to a chaotic close.

It remains unclear if Perez will continue her journey on NXT or if a main roster move is imminent, as WWE’s “transfer window” is currently open.

In related news, another former champion was also in attendance.

Charlotte Flair took to Twitter/X to share a striking image of herself alongside Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. In the post, Flair teased her interest in forming a “bad b**ch girl gang,” sparking immediate speculation about her intentions. Given her status as one of NXT’s original Four Horsewomen and a pivotal figure in shaping the brand’s history, Flair’s appearance reignited excitement about her potential involvement in the current women’s division.

Flair has been out of action since suffering a devastating knee injury in December 2023, tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Following surgery, she has been focused on rehabilitation and training. While WWE has not announced an official timeline for her return, her attendance at NXT suggests she is inching closer to reentering the ring.

Meanwhile, Jackson and Legend won a #1 contender match defeating Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) and securing a future shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
