Alexa Bliss’ WWE Return Uncertain Amid Contract Dispute – The possibility of Alexa Bliss returning to WWE anytime soon appears slim, according to recent reports.
PWInsider previously noted that WWE had planned for Bliss to make her comeback on RAW in San Jose a few weeks ago. Her return was set to be tied to a storyline with The Wyatt Sicks. However, those creative plans were scrapped after WWE and Bliss failed to reach an agreement on a new contract.
The key issue revolves around Bliss’ contract status. WWE reportedly expects her to continue under the terms of her previous deal, which was in place before she went on maternity leave in January 2023. On the other hand, Bliss’ camp believes she deserves a new contract. Because no agreement was reached in time for her planned return, WWE adjusted its creative direction, moving The Wyatt Sicks to SmackDown instead.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided an update, stating, “They were at least far enough apart that people are talking about not expecting a deal to be made.” This suggests that the two sides remain significantly apart in negotiations, raising doubts about whether a resolution will come soon.
As of now, Bliss has not made any public statements regarding the situation. Her future with WWE remains uncertain unless both parties can come to terms on a new agreement.
