Alexa Bliss’ WWE Return Put on Hold Indefinitely – Fans anticipating the return of Alexa Bliss will have to wait even longer, as the former WWE Women’s Champion remains absent from television. According to a report by PWInsider, WWE has indefinitely shelved plans for her return, despite earlier discussions for a comeback.
The report revealed that WWE initially planned for Bliss to reappear several weeks ago on RAW in San Jose. These plans involved her connection to the Wyatt Six faction, with a storyline reportedly pitched to reintroduce her as part of the group. However, just before the event, WWE creative was instructed to scrap all plans for Bliss, and the Wyatt Six was subsequently moved to SmackDown. Despite this shift, the faction has yet to debut on the blue brand, and their future plans are said to be unrelated to Bliss.
Importantly, the decision to put Bliss’ return on hold was not related to creative issues, as she was reportedly ready to return. One source speculated that a potential contract issue might be the reason behind the delay, though this has not been confirmed. Bliss’ current deal reportedly predates her hiatus to welcome her first child.
Additionally, Bliss is not included in creative plans for the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match, eliminating the possibility of a surprise return during the event. This news has dampened hopes of seeing her back in action during the build to WrestleMania season.
Alexa Bliss was last seen on WWE programming at the 2023 Royal Rumble, leaving fans eagerly awaiting her eventual return.
