1/22 AEW Dynamite Viewership Sees Slight DipAEW Dynamite’s January 22 episode drew 655,000 viewers on TBS, according to Wrestlenomics. This marks a minor drop compared to the previous week’s 679,000 viewers. Despite the dip in total viewers, the show’s 18-49 demographic rating improved slightly, scoring a 0.19 compared to last week’s 0.18.

The episode ranked sixth among all cable programs for the night. The top spot went to ESPN’s NBA coverage of the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks game, which attracted 1,172,000 viewers and a 0.37 demo rating. AEW Dynamite also simulcasted on Max, though streaming viewership figures were not disclosed.

The show opened with a confrontation between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay, but their exchange was interrupted by The Don Callis Family. The tension erupted into an all-out brawl, setting the tone for an action-packed night.

In a major highlight, The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) defeated Private Party to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. After the match, Mark Briscoe checked on Private Party, teasing further developments.

Jamie Hayter scored a decisive win over Julia Hart in women’s competition. Hayter praised Hart post-match, hinting at a potential rubber match between the two in the near future.

The main event featured The Rated R Superstar Cope securing a victory over PAC in a thrilling singles bout.
