WWE Reportedly Moving Ahead Without The Rock for WrestleMania 41 Plans

WWE Reportedly Moving Ahead Without The Rock for WrestleMania 41 Plans – The Rock’s involvement in WWE WrestleMania 41 remains a hot topic, with much uncertainty surrounding his status. Earlier this year, The Rock’s return set the stage for a potential match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, a plan that ultimately shifted. Instead, The Rock turned heel and joined forces with The Bloodline, leading to a major tag team match at WrestleMania XL night one, where he and Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Since then, speculation has focused on a possible Rock vs. Rhodes matchup at WrestleMania 41. Both stars have teased the idea publicly, while the much-anticipated Rock vs. Reigns clash has been rumored for a later date. Despite the hype, The Rock has not appeared on WWE programming since the Bad Blood premium live event in October.

Reports recently emerged claiming that The Rock informed WWE he would be unavailable for WrestleMania 41, leading to adjustments in the company’s creative direction. However, The Rock addressed these rumors on Instagram, dismissing them as “bull****,” adding another layer of intrigue to his potential involvement.

Chris Featherstone, a reputable insider, has reported that WWE is moving forward under the assumption that The Rock will not be available for WrestleMania 41. “WWE has decided to move forward in creative plans as if The Rock will not appear at #WrestleMania 41, as of now. I have been informed that these plans could “change at any moment,” and WWE is definitely interested in using him if he becomes available, but he is not currently scheduled to compete.” While the company remains open to utilizing him if his schedule permits, current plans are being crafted without his involvement. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful corroborated Featherstone’s report, noting that while WWE is leaving the door open, The Rock ultimately has the freedom to decide if and when he participates.

As WrestleMania season approaches, fans are left wondering whether The Rock will make another electrifying return or if WWE will proceed with alternate plans for its marquee event.
