Viewership Numbers for 12/7 AEW Collision – AEW Collision experienced a rebound in viewership for its December 7 episode but still faced challenges competing with WWE NXT Deadline. The show drew 278,000 viewers, significantly up from the November 30 episode, which aired earlier than usual and managed just 144,000 viewers alongside a 0.03 rating in the 18–49 demographic.
While viewership improved, the demographic rating for the December 7 episode came in at 0.07, a decline compared to the previous week. The episode also marked the lowest viewership in its normal time slot since October 5, when AEW Collision aired opposite WWE Bad Blood.
There was no Collision episode on November 23 due to AEW Full Gear, making November 16 the most recent standard time-slot broadcast, which attracted 356,000 viewers. These fluctuations highlight the challenges the show faces in maintaining consistent viewership, especially when competing against significant wrestling events like WWE PLEs or special broadcasts.
The December 7 edition featured a stacked lineup with three AEW Continental Classic matches. Darby Allin squared off against Komander, Kyle Fletcher faced Kazuchika Okada, and Daniel Garcia battled Mark Briscoe. Additionally, the women’s division was showcased with Mina Shirakawa taking on Emi Sakura and Willow Nightingale clashing with Serena Deeb.
While the numbers show a modest improvement, AEW Collision continues to navigate a competitive wrestling landscape, particularly when scheduled against marquee WWE events. The show’s ability to retain viewers in its regular slot will be critical in building momentum heading into the new year.
