Skye Blue Shares Update on Recovery: “We’re Getting There” – Skye Blue is continuing her recovery from the ankle injury she suffered during her July 20 match against Hikaru Shida on AEW Collision. The injury, which required surgery, has kept her out of action since, but she remains optimistic about her progress.
In a recent appearance during Wrestling Night at a Chicago Wolves game on November 16, Blue gave an update on her condition. Speaking with Chicago Wolves color analyst Billy Gardner, she emphasized the importance of returning only when fully healed.
“We’re getting there,” Blue shared. “It’s hard sitting at home and watching [Kyle Fletcher] go to work and being like, ‘I feel fine, I can walk. I can wrestle, right?’ Then I’m like, ‘Oh, no, I can’t.’ But we’re getting there. I just want to come back fully healthy so I can go crazy and do all my hardcore matches and be 100%.”
The young star appeared briefly on crutches during AEW All Out, where she was involved in a storyline segment with Mariah May, further maintaining her presence despite being sidelined.
While no timeline has been provided for her return, Blue’s focus on a full recovery suggests she aims to return at her best to pick up where she left off in AEW. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see her back in action, especially in the type of intense, high-energy matches that have defined her career. As of now, there is no confirmed timeline for Blue’s return. WrestlingAttitude.Com will provide updates on her recovery as they become available.
