NXT Level Up Set to End – As WWE gears up for significant programming changes in 2025, NXT Level Up is reportedly set to air its final episode. The show, which debuted on February 18, 2022, as a successor to 205 Live, primarily showcased rising talent not yet featured on the main NXT program.
NXT Level Up aired weekly on Peacock, separate from NXT’s core programming, and was taped before or after the live Tuesday NXT tapings. However, with WWE’s recent broadcast shifts—including NXT’s move from the USA Network to The CW—the show has been in a precarious position.
When NXT transitioned to The CW in October, its older shows followed, with most of its library moving from Peacock to The CW App. This change left NXT Level Up isolated, still airing on Peacock without a clear future. WrestleVotes reported months ago that the program was slated for discontinuation.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has now confirmed on Twitter that Thursday’s NXT: Level Up taping will be the final one.
The end of NXT Level Up reflects WWE’s broader adjustments to its programming lineup, including RAW’s move to Netflix in January 2025 and SmackDown’s return to the USA Network. As WWE shifts its focus to new platforms and opportunities, it appears the company is streamlining its offerings, with an emphasis on core programming and premium content.
NXT Level Up served as a developmental showcase for emerging talent, and its absence will leave a gap in WWE’s programming specifically dedicated to spotlighting newcomers. Fans will be watching closely to see how WWE integrates these up-and-coming stars into its remaining shows.
