LIVE 12/16 WWE RAW Results – We are live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, as CM Punk makes his way to the ring to start the show.
Punk tells the crowd to be careful chanting his name because someone might not like it. Punk points out a fan in New York clothing. Punk says he is feeling a little low. He is in a bit of a bad mood. Two weeks ago, he told Seth Rollins, after he told Punk he spends a lot of time thinking about Punk but he does not think about Seth. Punk says whatever this thing is between them, he cannot side step it because it is a matter of time before they lock up in the ring. Punk says he is upset because he enjoys coming to this ring to talk to his people and he feels like it will always be overshadowed by the fact that at some point, that stupid music is going to hit. Then he will come out tip toeing to the ring, dressed like Liberace. Punk says Liberace is cool as hell, so he is not insulting him. Punk says just because you wear Elton John sunglasses, it does not make you Elton John. Because you grew up idolizing me does not make you CM Punk.
Punk says Seth came out with a straight face and he said that Punk ghosted him. Punk says he is not here to litigate the past. He is looking to the future and he didn’t think it would be about Seth but it looks like it is. Punk asks the crowd if they have ever been a bad boy in their lives. Punk says he is the bad guy in this situation because there is no such thing as a bad student. Only bad teachers. Seth is CM Punk’s failure. Punk says he is ready to try again and train Seth. He will give Seth the wrestling lesson he asked for years ago and for free.
Punk says the last time who tried to deal with him was Drew McIntyre. He asks Seth if he is tougher than Drew. Punk says Seth might think he does but he is not. There are not enough staples to put you back together when we are done. Punk says if that won’t piss off Seth, he knows what will. Punk mentions that for the seven years he was gone, he had to hear the people chant his name.
Seth is iin the crowd and he starts to chant along with the rest of the crowd.
Seth says life is about perspective and if he came out here and saw you the way that people see you, it might give him a new perspective and feel differently about you. Seth looks at Punk and he says even from out here, you are still an ass****.
Punk says he is overjoyed Seth didn’t come out with his stupid song, you are coming from the right spot because you belong in the crowd with the CM Punk fans.
Seth says it doesn’t embarrass him to be out here with the fans. He says he is a fan and he loves this place. Seth says he put this company on his back when Punk wanted it to die and he made it stronger. He says Punk should be embarrassed because this fan has more Wrestlemania main events than Punk. Seth calls Punk ‘Phil’.
Punk leaves the ring and he meets Seth in the crowd and they throw punches. Officials come out to try to stop them and they pull Seth back into the ringside area. Punk gets over the ringside barrier and he moves past the officials like the Patriots’s defense and he goes after Rollins. Seth with a splash off the ring steps.
Seth and Punk make it into the ring and they throw a few punches before officials stop them one more time.
Punk is escorted through the crowd.
Seth says he is done because he raised his arms but he goes through the crowd and the brawl continues.
They are separated again.
Backstage:
We go to the Judgment Room and Liv wonders why Finn isn’t in a good mood. Finn asks where was everyone on Saturday when he was down two to one. Liv says they had faith in him and JD was worried about tonight’s match. Liv reminds Finn they are banned from ringside. Liv says Raquel is ready for her match tonight.
We go to commercial.
Backstage:
Seth Rollins walks in the back and Adam Pearce uses both names to yell at him. Seth says he wants this fight. He says this is the biggest fight you can put on. Pearce says if they stopped trying to take care of each other, he could get something done.
Drew McIntyre shows up and tells Rollins about everything with the Bloodline and he says that Roman has everyone fooled by them. Drew says they need to take everyone out. They need to take out Jimmy, Jey, Sami, and Roman.
Seth says he took Roman out of power already, at Wrestlemania. Do you know who was at his side? Jey and Sami. He says they are his friends. He tells Drew he is not his friend. Friendships are forged on common interests. He is friends with Jey and Sami, not wtih Drew. He has to do what Drew couldn’t do, end CM Punk.
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser
Bron runs Kaiser into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Bron with an Irish whip and back body drop. Kaiser with punches but Bron punches back. Bron rakes the eyes in the corner. Kaiser with an Irish whip and Kaiser blocks a boot and hits the nein slap. Bron with a double leg take down and punches. Bron with a running clothesline and Kaiser goes to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kaiser with a wrist lock and kick. Bron with a clothesline. Bron goes to the turnbuckles to punch Kaiser. Bron catches Kaiser on a leap frog and hits a power slam for a near fall. Kaiser kicks Bron in the shoulder and Kaiser with a double wrist lock. Bron with a slam to escape. Kaiser rakes the eye and puts Bron in the ropes and kicks the arm on the ropes. Kaiser sets for a suplex but Bron counters with a suplex of his own. Kaiser goes to the floor and Bron sets for the clothesline off the apron onto the announce table. Kaiser is sent back into the ring and Bron’s left arm is against his body and he is unable to use it.
Bron puts Kaiser on the turnbuckles and Kaiser with an arm wringer. Kaiser with boots to the shoulder. Kaiser with a double wrist lock in the ropes. Kaiser with kicks to the shoulder. Kaiser with a hammer lock using the leg and he drops back to the mat to add more pressure to the shoulder. Kaiser wraps Bron’s arm in the ropes. Kaiser with a drop kick to the shoulder.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kaiser works on the arm and Bron with punches. Kaiser with a hammer lock and he drops Bron on the top rope. Kaiser with kicks to the shoulder. Bron with punches. Kaiser with a divorce court for a near fall. Kaiser with a double wrist lock. Bron with punches and Kaiser with slaps to the arm. Bron with a jumping knee to Kaiser. Bron with punches to Kaiser followed by a jumping back elbow. Bron puts Kaiser on the turnbuckles and he sets for a Frankensteiner but Kaiser knocks him off the turnbukles. Bron gets up again and hits a Frankensteiner for a near fall. Kaiser with a rolling Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Kaiser with a double wrist lock.
Bron tries to press Kaiser over his head but he backs Kaiser into the corner. Bron hits the turnbuckles shoulder first when Kaiser moves. Bron rolls to the floor and lies against the ring steps. Kaiser goes to the floor for the Wacky Drop KIck but Bron is gone and Bron with a Wacky Flying Shoulder Tackle. Bron runs into an uppercut and Bron with a double knee gutbuster. Bron sets for a WARP Spear and hits it for the three count.
Winner: Bron Breakker
Backstage:
The New Day walk in the back and they are still shunned. Rey Mysterio stops Woods and Kofi from entering the locker room. Kofi asks why doesn’t anyone have their back. Rey says Kofi and Woods did a lot and it is best that they find somewhere else to change. Woods says that is fine because they didn’t want to share a locker room with him.
We go to commercial.
– We are back with a look at the main event from Saturday Night’s Main Event when Cody Rhodes successfully defended the Smackdown World Title against Kevin Owens, and what Kevin Owens did after the show ended.
Joe gives a medical update on Cody Rhodes and he says he has a compression of the cervical spine and there are no fractures. Joe says that Cody is back home.
Backstage:
We go to the War Raiders. Erik says they go to war with the Judgment Day and there is more than the titles on the line. Ivar knows that things can go wrong in the ring. Erik talks about not having the strength in your arms to pick up your son. Ivar talks about being in the hospital and dealing with the nerve damage in his legs. He says they should have been done but they are back. They say that the Judgment Day has attacked them twice, but they are stronger every match because it could be the last. Erik says his sons need to know the pain was worth it.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Tribal Combat is official for January 6th.
– Cathy Kelley is with Adam Pearce and she asks about other matches that might take place on January 6th. Adam says Seth Rollins will face CM Punk.
In the Arena:
Liv Morgan makes her way to the ring with Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio.
Dom wants to speak but he is treated like he is a member of the New Day.
Liv takes the megaphone and she says she is the greatest Women’s Champion of all time and she chortles. Liv says without a shadow of a doubt, 2024 was the year of Monday Night Morgan. She says they are just getting started. There are a lot of historic changes happening in WWE next year and there is no one hotter or more iconic to lead this company than . . . her. If you think she has been so great this year, wait until . . .
Rhea Ripley’s music interrupts and she makes her way to the ring. She tells Liv to stay around for what she has to say.
Liv tells Rhea nobody in this arena has to care about…
Rhea tells Liv to shut the hell up. Rhea says this has gone on long enough and it is time to settle this, once and for all. She says Adam Pearce has made it official. You are looking at the number one contender for the Women’s title. Rhea says she can see into the future and all you can get excited about is the end of your title reign. Rhea says she will be the new champion. All you will be left with is your little chicken tender slut.
Backstage:
Jackie tries to get comments from Seth about his match against CM PUnk. We see Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn fighting behind Seth and officials try to pull them apart. Drew gets free and goes after Sami.

Backstage:
Miz says he was proud to team with them but they don’t need them any more. He says they beat the Wyatts and they can move on. Kross says what they did to Paul and Scarlett, it isn’t over until he says it is over. They have been reacting to the Wyatts and now they will be agressive. Kross says Miz is going to face Dexter Lumis next week. Paul says he saved Miz twice so he owes them. Kross tells Miz to go to Pearce to make the match official. Kross says they are going to test themselves against the Wyatts and Miz will learn what happens when you make a deal with the devil.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament: Zoey Stark vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Kayden Carter
Kayden goes after Zoey and Raquel pulls her off. Raquel with a biel to Zoey and a splash to both women. Carter kicks Raquel but Raquel with a clothesline for a near fall. Zoey punches Raquel but misses a hip on Carter. Carter with a monkey flip and Zoey lands on her feet. Zoey with a super kick to Carter and a DDT to Raquel. Carter kicks Zoey and then she goes to the ropes for a wrist lock but she hits a head scissors on Raquel. Zoey with a kick to Carter for a near fall. All three are on the apron and Zoey kicks Raquel. Carter with a forearm to Zoey and Raquel with a boot to Zoey to knock her off the apron. Carter with a twisting suicide dive onto Raquel and Zoey.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Carter with a drop kick and splash for a near fall. Carter with a standing figure four to Raquel and a swinging suplex to Zoey while turning the leg lock into a trailer hitch. Cater with a running boot to Zoey against the ropes followed by a springboard leg drop for a near fall. Raquel pulls Carter to the floor and Raquel tries for a power slam on the floor but Carter sends Raquel into the apron. Zoey with a cross body onto Raquel and Carter. Zoey sends Raquel into the ring. Raquel with a shoulder tackle to send Zoey over the top rope to the floor. Carter with a rollup and a drop kick for a near fall on Raquel.
Carter with a splash into the corner. Raquel sets for a power bomb but Zoey leaps up and hits a German suplex on Carter. Raquel with a clothesline to Zoey for a near fall. Raquel grabs Zoey by the hair but Carter goes for a rollup. Raquel picks up Carter and hits a fallaway slam and a double jump elbow drop. Raquel sets for the Tejana Bomb but Zoey with a missile drop kick. Zoey with a super kick to Carter and Z360 to Carter. Zoey gets the three count.
Winner: Zoey Stark (advances to face Dakota Kai)
Backstage:
R Truth is with American Alpha and Truth talks about how his workout changed. Pete Dunne shows up and he tells Truth not to use that name. Pete says if he hears the name again he will finish him. Truth says Butch please and Dunne gives him a final warning. Chad Gable shows up and asks them how they feel about destroying his Academy. He says their commercial was pathetic. Chad says Otis was insignificant when he first met him. Otis tells him to shut up. Chad says he is going to deal with them, starting with Tozawa.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Jackie is with Kofi and Woods. She asks about last week’s attempted interview. Woods says it was biased journalism.
– We see Kairi Sane’s arm stuck in a storage case while Zoey Stark, Sonya Deville, and Shayna Baszler walk away. Iyo and Dakota show up to help their partner.
WWE World Tag Team Championship: Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) (c) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
Ivar and JD start things off and JD with kicks and a side head lock. Ivar with a shoulder tackle and JD goes to the floor. Ivar brings Finn into the ring and Ivar slams JD and then he slams Finn onto JD. Ivar slams JD and then Erik slams Ivar onto JD.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ivar with a knee and Erik with a knee to JD. Finn makes the tag after JD kicks Ivar. Finn escapes a slam attempt but Ivar with a back elbow. JD drops Ivar on the top rope and Finn with a GTR for a near fall. Finn chokes Ivar in the ropes. Finn continues to choke Ivar in the ropes and he is warned by the referee. JD punches Ivar and then Finn kicks Ivar a few times. Finn punches Ivar and tags in JD. Ivar runs through a double clothesline and hits a handspring back double elbow. JD keeps Ivar from making the tag by grabbing the leg and not letting go.
Erik tags in and he hits an exploder. Erik with a head butt and forearm followed by a belly-to-back suplex. Erik with a uranage to Finn. Erik floats over on an Irish whip and connects with a clothesline. Erik sends JD over the top rope. Finn trips Erik when Erik sets for a dive to the floor. Erik grabs Finn and JD with a knee to the back. JD sends Erik into the ring steps. Finn and JD Irish whip Erik into the ring steps again.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Finn with boots to Erik. JD tags in and gets a near fall. JD works on the neck and he connects with an elbow to the back. JD goes to the turnbuckles but misses an elbow drop. Finn and Ivar tag in and Ivar with a shoulder tackle and a side slam. Ivar with a cross body and he misses a shoulder in the corner. Ivar with a seated splash and then he hits a few spin kicks of doom. Ivar with a bronco buster to Finn and he goes to the turnbuckles. Finn gets to his feet and he crotches Ivar. JD tags in and he sets for a superplex but Ivar stops JD and hits a power slam off the turnbuckles for a near fall.
Erik tags in and they hit an alley oop power slam for a near fall. Finn is sent to the floor and Ivar tags back in. Erik tags in and they set for War Machine but Finn pulls Ivar over the top rope. JD with a rollup and a hand of fabric for a near fall. JD with a head butt and Finn tags in. Erik with forearms and a full nelson knee to the back. Finn with sling blade. Finn sets for the drop kick and hits it. JD tags in Finn and JD with a moonsault followed by Coup de Grace but Ivar breaks up the cover. JD sends Ivar to the floor. JD goes under the ring to get a chair and the referee stops him. Finn grabs a chair but Damian Priest, playing the role of a cameraman stops him and pulls Finn into the ringside barrier.
Erik tags in and they hit War Machine for the three count.

12/16 WWE RAW Preview
After being able to dethrone GUNTHER as World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Match against him and archrival Damian Priest at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event this past Saturday, Finn Balor will be joining forces with JD McDonagh to put their World Tag Team Championship on the line against The War Raiders. Erik and Ivar previously successfully challenged The Judgment Day members for their title on the November 25 episode of “Raw”.
Another title will be on the line tonight, as Bron Breakker defends the Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser. The two have had their fair share of issues with one another over the course of the past few weeks, with Kaiser scoring a win over Breakker on the November 25 episode of “Raw” thanks to interference at the hands of Sheamus and having been unable to dethrone Breakker as titleholder at WWE Survivor Series: WarGame in a Triple Threat Match with Sheamus.
Raquel Rodriguez will be going head-to-head with Zoey Stark and Kayden Carter in a First Round Triple Threat Match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament. Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria have already secured their spots in the semifinals, with the former having defeated Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance in another First Round Triple Threat match, and the latter emerging victorious over Zelina Vega and Ivy Nile.
Additionally, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of New Day will be appearing on tonight’s show with something on their minds to share after looking to do so last week but finding themselves unable to speak over the uproar of the crowd due to their heated confrontation with Big E two weeks ago. CM Punk will also be speaking in the opening moments of tonight’s edition of “Raw”, as will Seth “Freakin” Rollins after having some choice words for each other last week.
