Becky Lynch Joins Cast of “Star Trek: Starship Fleet” – Becky Lynch (real name Rebecca Quin) has announced her involvement in the upcoming Paramount+ series Star Trek: Starship Fleet. Lynch shared the news on social media, revealing that she would be “beaming in” for the show’s first season.
In her announcement, Lynch expressed her excitement, stating, “When you’ve been champion of the world, there’s only one place to go next—and that’s to the stars.” She described her time on set as “the most incredible experience” and praised the “spectacular” cast and crew.
The series, which is expected to premiere in late 2025 or 2026, features an impressive ensemble cast, including Holly Hunter, Kerrice Brooks, and Bella Shepard, alongside guest stars Paul Giamatti, Gina Yashere, and Tatiana Maslany.
This isn’t Lynch’s first venture into acting. Before rising to fame in WWE, she worked as a stunt double on Vikings and later appeared in Billions and Young Rock. She also has two film credits to her name.
Lynch has been absent from WWE programming since the May 27 episode of RAW, after entering free agency in June. While her wrestling future remains unconfirmed, she attended a WWE/Netflix promotional event earlier this month, fueling speculation about her return. Many fans anticipate Lynch will make her WWE comeback in time for RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.
For now, Lynch’s foray into the Star Trek universe marks another milestone in her growing acting career. Fans of both wrestling and sci-fi will no doubt look forward to her new role.
